Web design Hampshire that turns local searches into enquiries

Renozer is a remote web design and local SEO service for Hampshire businesses. Web design Hampshire gets about 1,300 searches a month in Keywords Everywhere’s UK data, though it fell from 5,400 in November 2025 to 480 in October 2026, and "horse riding New Forest" sits between 720 and 1,900. We build the site and the local listings that meet those searchers, then make contacting you a single tap. Websites start at £995 and local SEO at £295 a month, quoted in writing before work begins and with no VAT added.

Web design Hampshire: the problems owners bring us

These are the problems owners describe on a first call, in their own words, and what we do about each one.

01
The problem

A builder with fewer reviews sits in the map pack and we don’t

How we fix it

The county counts 10,130 construction firms and 9,540 of them have fewer than ten staff, so a roofer or electrician is up against dozens of near-identical listings. We clean up your Business Profile, set the service area to the towns you drive to, and publish a fresh local page or post every month. You invite your own customers to leave reviews. The monthly report then totals the calls and enquiries that came from Maps.

02
The problem

A customer opens our site on a phone outside a Winchester shop, can’t find the hours and walks on

How we fix it

The county holds 10,380 wholesale, retail and motor-repair firms, 7,835 of them micro, and shoppers glance at a phone before they push a door. Your opening hours, a call button, WhatsApp and a price steer go in the first screen, built for thumbs first. Nothing launches until the design has your approval. A passer-by gets the answer in a single tap and keeps walking towards you.

03
The problem

Our last SEO company sent a PDF each month and we never saw a call

How we fix it

Of the 8 provider pages on the first page of Google UK for this search, just 1 listed a monthly SEO figure, "from £95 a month", which leaves most owners guessing until a sales call. Ours sit in the open: £295, £495 and £695 a month, three months at least, then 30 days’ notice. Each report puts calls and form enquiries next to the rankings, so the test of our work is customers, not graphs.

04
The problem

A customer asked an AI assistant for a firm like ours and we weren’t named

How we fix it

Professional, scientific and technical activities form the county’s biggest group at 10,760 firms, 9,910 of them micro, and buyers shortlist such firms online. Just 1 of the 8 pages we read names AI search, in a footer line about a sister agency. We write plain service pages, name your towns and add schema, and the reviews come from your customers. Growth SEO (£495) and AI Search Authority (£695) both include the monthly AI visibility report.

05
The problem

The person who built our site has moved on and the login went with them

How we fix it

One of the Hampshire agencies we read even offers to copy a site "nearly identically" when its owner can’t get access to it, which shows how common this is. From day one your domain, hosting login, Analytics and Search Console are registered to you, and the Business Website comes with a 1 hour training video. If editing isn’t for you, Care Basic at £49 a month keeps the updates done.

06
The problem

People read our glamping page, then book somewhere else

How we fix it

Hampshire has 3,805 accommodation and food enterprises, 2,445 of them micro, and "glamping New Forest" draws about 1,900 searches a month with a hard 0.81 competition score. Our £1,495 Business Website records calls, form sends and WhatsApp taps, so you can see where visitors give up. If the design is already fine, the £595 On-page SEO Fix reworks titles, headings, schema and links on up to 10 pages.

It was a pleasure to work with Muhammad on our new website. He took the time to understand our brief and broke down each step of the process so I was always clear on exactly what he was doing and what was coming next. Muhammad delivered a professional, well built site that looks fantastic. We would highly recommend his services and will definitely be working with him again.

Web design Hampshire prices, and what you get

A Hampshire website costs £995, £1,495 or £2,495 with us, and local SEO is £295, £495 or £695 a month. Every item below is in the price, and the prices are the same anywhere in the UK. Not sure which fits? Tick "Not sure yet" in the form and we’ll recommend one.

Websites from £995 one-off Local SEO from £295 a month One-off SEO from £295

Professional, scientific and technical firms lead the county with 10,760, and 9,910 of them are micro. An accountant, consultant or surveyor would suit the £1,495 Business Website plus Local SEO at £295 a month, so your services, credentials and phone number are in front of a buyer before a shortlist is drawn up. Property and health firms are in the same position: real estate activities number 2,815 enterprises, 2,665 of them micro, and human health and social work 3,620, 2,235 of them micro, so a letting agent or a healthcare clinic would start from the same pair. Do you sell goods as well? Step up to the £2,495 Growth or Online Shop, with Shopify or WooCommerce. Prefer proof before you commit? Book the £295 SEO Audit, which counts in full towards any plan you take later, or send the quote form and expect an answer in a working day.

Hampshire business market

Hampshire’s business market in numbers

The Hampshire county council area is what these counts cover. Southampton and Portsmouth run their own unitary councils, so their firms sit outside the numbers. Here’s what the figures mean for your website.

68,645enterprises in the Hampshire county council area. Customers nearby find you when your Business Profile and pages name the towns you serve.
57,400are micro firms, 84% of the total. Most owners run the work and the website themselves, so a fixed price and an editable site count.
10,760professional and technical firms lead the count, ahead of 10,380 in wholesale, retail and motor repair and 10,130 in construction. Buyers look at prices and reviews on a phone first.

Local SEO Hampshire

How Hampshire customers search for you

A horse-riding centre by Brockenhurst, a marine supplier on the Solent and a consultancy in Basingstoke all get found in different ways. See how each part of the county searches, and what to do about it.

The Solent coast: Southampton, Portsmouth, Eastleigh, Fareham, Gosport and Havant

Southampton Docks handle a large share of national container freight and cruise traffic, Portsmouth Harbour holds a Royal Navy base, and Fareham, Gosport and Havant sit in a conurbation along the coast between the two cities. "Web design Southampton" gets about 1,000 searches a month at a competition score of 0.28, "web design Portsmouth" about 590, "web design Eastleigh" about 110, and "web design Fareham" and "web design Havant" about 70 each. "SEO Portsmouth" is about 260 at 0.48, so it’s the harder one. A maritime, defence or logistics supplier near the docks or the naval base needs a clear service list and a contact route a buyer can find fast. Tell us what you sell on the quote form and you’ll hear back inside one working day.

The centre and north: Winchester, Basingstoke, Andover, Alton, Farnborough and Aldershot

Winchester is the county town and was once the capital of Wessex, Basingstoke has grown into a business and financial centre, and Farnborough hosts an international airshow every second July along with the head office of the Air Accidents Investigation Branch. "Web design Basingstoke" runs at about 390 a month with a low 0.11 competition score, "web design Winchester" at about 260, "web design Andover" and "web design Farnborough" at about 140 each, and "web design Aldershot" at about 90. "SEO Basingstoke" is about 170. Professional firms here are judged on credibility, so named people, credentials and a plain price steer count. Ring 0161 394 2632 or use the quote form.

The New Forest, the west and the Downs: Lymington, Ringwood, Brockenhurst, Romsey and Petersfield

The New Forest lies wholly inside the county and is a national park, and the South Downs National Park takes in part of Hampshire too, so tourism searches matter in the south-west. The county also counts 1,925 agriculture, forestry and fishing enterprises, 1,790 of them micro, so a farm shop or farm business can be found by the same local method. "Glamping New Forest" runs at about 1,900 a month, "campsite New Forest" at about 720 and "bike hire New Forest" at about 720, while "web design New Forest" is only about 20, "web design Romsey" and "web design Petersfield" about 40 each and "web design Alton" about 10. A holiday firm needs dates, photos and a booking button. Keywords Everywhere shows zero for "tutor Winchester", which doesn’t mean nobody searches it. Your pages would follow the places you really reach, and the monthly report lists calls, forms and rankings.

Coverage

From the Solent to the Downs

The county stretches from the Solent coast, up the Test and Itchen valleys, west into the New Forest and north-east to the Surrey and Berkshire borders, and each stretch searches in its own way. Put every town you cover on your Business Profile and pages. A monthly local page or post is part of Local SEO, and each report counts calls, forms and rankings.

Web designer for Hampshire

Working with a remote web designer for Hampshire businesses

We’re not based in Hampshire and we won’t pretend to be. Here’s how it works, and the three worries people raise most.

  • “You’re not local”

We work remotely with UK businesses, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time, by video call, phone, WhatsApp and email.

  • “I’d like to meet someone first”

Every project starts with a video call where you see Younus and his screen, and you approve the designs before anything is built.

  • “What if you disappear?”

You own every account from day one, and you can pay through Upwork so your money is only released when you approve each stage.

Hampshire FAQ

Websites and SEO in Hampshire: questions from local businesses

The questions Hampshire owners ask most, answered plainly. See also the full FAQ.

Web design Hampshire prices: only 4 of the 8 pages I read showed one. What should I expect to pay?
We read the 8 provider pages among the Google UK results on 4 November 2026, from a collection made on 3 November. Four printed a price: £39 + VAT a month with a £175 + VAT setup fee, £30 a month for up to 5 pages and £50 to £90 for bigger ones with VAT included, from £35 a month plus £450 up front plus VAT, and one agency says projects "typically start at £10,000". A Devon studio adds fixed one-off prices from £1,200 and £2,500. The other four showed no figure. A monthly plan can bundle hosting and updates, so compare like for like. Our prices are £995 for up to 5 pages, £1,495 for up to 10 and £2,495 for 20 pages or a shop, each paid once with no VAT, and Care Basic at £49 a month is optional. Send the quote form and put our written figure next to theirs.
Do I need a web designer based in Hampshire? Three of the pages I read are from Poole, Devon and Torquay.
Not always, and some owners prefer a visit. Online web design Hampshire work suits owners happy with video calls. The pages we read show offices in Winchester, Chandlers Ford, Southampton and Fareham, so there are plenty of local options, while others show an office in Poole, a studio in Devon and a registered office in Torquay. Renozer runs from Karachi, Pakistan, with desk hours that match the UK working day, Monday to Friday, so there’s no office in Fareham or Winchester to drop into. Here’s what replaces it: video and WhatsApp calls, a plan with dates on it, Upwork payment protection if you start there, and your deposit back if the design doesn’t win your approval. Younus builds the site himself. His Upwork record is Top Rated Plus, a 100% Job Success Score and 271 client reviews. If a visit matters most to you, pick a local firm, and if it doesn’t, ring 0161 394 2632 or send the quote form to see whether we suit you before any money changes hands.
Should my pages aim at the whole county or at my own town? "Web design Southampton" is about 1,000 a month and the county is 1,300.
Aim at where your customers type. "Web design Southampton" runs at about 1,000, "web design Portsmouth" at 590, "web design Basingstoke" at 390, "web design Winchester" at 260, "web design Andover" and "web design Farnborough" at 140 each, and "web design Fareham", "web design Havant" and "web design Gosport" at 70 or fewer, all in Keywords Everywhere. Those are people shopping for designers. Your own customers search the trade plus a town, such as "horse riding Brockenhurst", so the county term is a broad net, while a Business Profile with a clear service area and local pages that match your calls catches the rest. Local SEO includes 1 new local page or post a month, so we add a town page where your enquiries say it pays. List your towns on the quote form.
What does SEO Hampshire cost a month, when 7 of the 8 pages I read printed no price?
Only 1 of the 8 printed one: "from £95 a month" for Business Profile management, citations, on-page work and monthly reporting across the SO, PO, RG and GU postcodes. Demand is uneven: "seo hampshire" gets about 390 searches a month in Keywords Everywhere, "seo agency hampshire" about 260 and "seo company hampshire" about 140, and the first swung from 1,600 in November 2025 to 70 in October 2026. Town searches are similar in size, such as "seo southampton" at 390 and "seo basingstoke" at 170. Our plans are £295, £495 and £695 a month, with no VAT, a three-month minimum and 30 days’ notice after that. The £295 Local SEO plan covers Business Profile management with weekly posts, a monthly local page or post, rank tracking and a report on calls, forms and rankings. Want a look first? The SEO Audit is £295 and comes off any plan you buy afterwards.
Will I own my website, and can you rebuild one I’ve lost the login to?
Yes to both. We register the domain, hosting login, Analytics and Search Console in your name on day one, and once you’ve paid in full the website and its content belong to you. The Business Website can run on any platform, WordPress included, so you can edit it yourself, and a 1 hour training video comes with it. On our WordPress builds the security basics include an SSL certificate. Hosting and updates can sit with anyone you choose: Care Basic is £49 a month, or you can handle them. If you’re locked out of a site a former provider built, send what you know through the quote form. We can rebuild it on a platform you control, and the redesign page sets out how that goes.
How long does a website take, and what do you need from me?
Most small business sites we build go live within three to six weeks, and shops or custom work take six to ten, with dates agreed up front. The Hampshire pages we read quote very different times: one says 1 to 10 pages within 3 weeks of the go-ahead, one says 4 to 12 weeks, and a Devon studio sells a 7 day site and says 4 to 8 weeks for a custom one. Speed depends mostly on how soon the words and photos reach us. Please gather your logo if you have one, pictures of your work, your services with prices, and your domain login. Haven’t written anything yet? Copywriting is £75 a page. Got a deadline, such as a summer season? Put the date on the quote form and we’ll reply within a working day.
I run horse rides near Brockenhurst. Is "horse riding Brockenhurst" worth chasing at 140 searches a month?
It’s small but steady: Keywords Everywhere shows 50 to 260 a month across the last 12, and the competition score is a low 0.03. "Horse riding New Forest" is much bigger at about 1,300 a month with a score of 0.16, "pony rides New Forest" is about 90 and "riding school Hampshire" about 90, while "horse riding Lyndhurst" shows only 20. October 2026 was the highest of the twelve months for the Forest search. We haven’t checked who holds page one for it. A sensible build is a Business Profile full of photos and seasonal dates, short pages for hacks, lessons and prices, and a call button that works from a saddle-side phone. Tell us your ride types and dates on the quote form.
Is a new website still worth it in 2026, when people ask AI and use Maps?
Yes, because both of those still end at a website. Searches for designers swing a lot, so don’t read a trend into one month: "web design Hampshire" read 5,400 in November 2025 and 480 in October 2026. What matters is whether your customers can find you and act. Maps shows only a few businesses at the top, and an AI assistant can only quote what your pages and listings say. Only 1 of the 8 pages we read names AI search at all. A brochure site, which presents your services without a shop, is the £995 Website for up to 5 pages or the £1,495 one for up to 10. Selling goods too? A shop with up to 50 products is part of the £2,495 Growth or Online Shop on Shopify or WooCommerce, and extra uploads are £95 per 25. To see how assistants describe you today, ask for the free AI visibility audit.
What are the five golden rules of a website, and the seven C’s I keep seeing?
Five rules cover the ground those lists reach. First, say what you do and where in the first screen. Second, load fast on a phone, because most local searches happen there. Third, make contact one tap, with a call button, WhatsApp and a form. Fourth, show proof a buyer can check, such as your prices and reviews from your own customers. Fifth, keep the site yours and kept up to date, with the logins in your name. Our packages are built on those five, and a site that follows them is easy to price. Want yours checked against them? The £595 On-page SEO Fix reworks up to 10 pages, or send the address through the quote form.
