Web design and AI SEO in Liverpool

Websites that load fast, rank on Google and get named when Liverpool customers ask ChatGPT for a recommendation. Websites from £995 and SEO from £295 a month, with one specialist doing all of it.

Written by Muhammad Younus, founder of Renozer. Last updated 30 October 2026. Editorial policy.

Web design Liverpool businesses can win with

Covering the city centre, the Baltic Triangle, Ropewalks, the Knowledge Quarter, Wavertree, Allerton, Woolton, Walton, Anfield, Garston and Speke, plus Bootle, Crosby, Huyton, Birkenhead and the rest of Merseyside.

Renozer builds fast websites and runs SEO and AI search work for Liverpool businesses, so people searching the city on Google, Google Maps or ChatGPT find you and get in touch. It’s remote, it’s fixed price, and I do every part of it myself.

Most Liverpool businesses are small: four in five have fewer than ten staff. You don’t need an agency retainer, you need a site that brings in calls and enquiries at a price you know before you start. So this page shows you what I’d want to see in your position: fixed prices, what each package includes, real client results with their weak spots, and a short checklist you can use on any web designer’s quote, mine included.

If you’re searching "website design Liverpool" because your current site is slow, hard to edit or brings in nothing, you’re in the right place.

I hired Muhammad after spending two years with two different SEO companies that achieved virtually nothing. Muhammad achieved more in six months than those companies did in two years. Since working with him, I’ve seen an increase in client bookings, with some clients even telling me they found my company because it was recommended by ChatGPT and Claude. …

It was a pleasure to work with Muhammad on our new website. He took the time to understand our brief and broke down each step of the process so I was always clear on exactly what he was doing and what was coming next. Muhammad delivered a professional, well built site that looks fantastic. We would highly recommend his services and will definitely be working with him again.

What a website costs in Liverpool, and what you get

Three fixed packages, the same price everywhere in the UK. Most websites go live in three to six weeks. Full details, SEO plans and add-ons are on the pricing page.

Website packages

Every package includes schema, Google Business Profile set-up, tracking and full ownership

For most Liverpool service firms, Business at £1,495 is the right fit. Hotels, cafés and restaurants, 2,030 of the city’s businesses, usually add Local SEO from £295 a month, because Google Maps and AI answers bring most of their customers.

How the weeks run

From first call to launch

  1. Week 1: planA 30-minute call about your services, prices and best customers, then a page plan.
  2. Weeks 1 to 2: designYour key pages are designed first. You approve them before any code is written.
  3. Then: build and launchPages, content, schema and tracking, tested on phones before going live.
  4. After launchKeep it yourself, or add Website Care from £49 a month for updates, backups and small edits.
The Safe Start promise

You don’t pay for a design you don’t like

Hiring someone you’ve never met is a risk, so I take it on myself. Of the 8 Liverpool web design and SEO pages I read on 30 October 2026, none offered a refund, a guarantee or protected payments. Here’s what you get with me.

1Your money is held by Upwork, not by me

Pay through Upwork if you like. Each payment sits with Upwork and only reaches me when you approve that stage of the work.

2Don’t like the design? Full refund

If you don’t approve your homepage design, I refund your deposit in full and you walk away. No build starts until you say yes.

3Your launch date in writing

Your fixed quote shows each milestone, what happens in it, what it costs and the date it’s due, counted from the day you start.

4Everything is yours from day one

The domain, the website, Google Business Profile, Analytics and Search Console sit in your name, so you’re never locked in.

Start with the Safe Start promisePrefer bank transfer? That’s fine too, and the design refund still applies. Upwork adds its own small client fee, which you’ll see before you pay. Full details are in your written quote.

Liverpool’s business market in numbers

Three numbers that shape what your website needs to do, and what each one means for you.

18,580businesses in Liverpool. Customers comparing you can click away to a rival in seconds, so your site has to load fast and make the next step obvious.
80%have fewer than ten staff (14,915 firms). You need a fixed price and a plan that pays back, not a £1,500 a month retainer.
2,030hotels, cafés, bars and restaurants. If you’re one, your Google profile and AI answers bring in more customers than your homepage does.

Hospitality matters more here

Share of all businesses in accommodation and food

10.9%Liverpool
8.8%Manchester

Those customers decide where to eat or stay from a phone or an AI answer, often before they reach your website.

For a café, hotel or bar, I’d start with the Google profile, photos and reviews, then a fast mobile site that confirms the booking.

How to choose a web designer in Liverpool

1

Can you see the price before a sales call?

Of the 4 local web design pages I could read in Google’s top results, only 1 listed prices (£800 to £1,200). SEO pages that did started at £1,500 a month.

Mine are on this page, fixed and in writing.

2

Will the site be found in AI answers?

None of those 4 web design pages mentioned ChatGPT, AI Overviews or Perplexity. Only two of the four SEO pages I read covered AI search in any detail.

Every site I build is set up for Google and AI search.

3

Can they show real numbers?

Ask for Search Console figures from real client sites, not just nice screenshots of designs.

Mine are above, including the weak numbers.

4

Are you looking at a list or a supplier?

DesignRush and Clutch lists ranked in the top 10 for "web design Liverpool" and "SEO agency Liverpool". A list is a starting point, so check each firm’s own work.

You can check mine on Upwork, with 271 client reviews.

How Liverpool customers search for you

The same city searches in three different ways, and each one needs a different kind of website.

City centre

Bold Street, the Albert Dock and the Ropewalks

Many searches come from visitors who don’t know the area. They type "near me", tap the Map Pack or ask an AI assistant. Your Google profile, photos, opening times and reviews do most of the selling, and your site confirms the decision on a phone.

What wins hereGoogle profile, photos, reviews, fast mobile pages
Creative and professional

The Baltic Triangle and the Knowledge Quarter

Creative, digital and professional firms whose buyers research properly. They read service pages, compare prices and check who’s behind a business, then ask AI tools specific questions before they get in touch.

What wins hereClear service pages, real detail, being the source AI quotes
Suburbs and the Wirral

Allerton, Walton, Bootle and Birkenhead

Liverpool has 1,895 construction firms, and trades out here mostly win on Google Maps. People search with their own town name, so "web design Wirral" and "plumber Crosby" are separate searches from the city ones.

What wins hereRight Maps category, real service area, steady reviews

Working with me from Liverpool

I’m not in Liverpool and I don’t pretend to be. Here’s how that works in practice.

Web consultant on a video call with a small business client on a laptop, in a home office with a bookshelf
Illustrative: every project runs by video call
The worryHow it works
"You’re not based here"

I work remotely from Karachi with UK businesses, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time, by video call, phone, WhatsApp and email.

"I’d rather meet someone"

Every project starts with a video call where you see me and my screen, and you approve the designs before anything is built.

"What if you disappear halfway?"

You can pay through Upwork, so your money is held there and only released when you approve each stage. You also own the website, the domain and every account from day one, and my record is public: a 100% Job Success Score on Upwork.

"Is 0161 a real number?"

It’s a UK number that reaches me directly, and you can WhatsApp it too. Call 0161 394 2632.

Services for Liverpool businesses

Most Liverpool firms start with one of two things. If your site’s old, slow or impossible to edit, it’s a new website built to bring in enquiries or a redesign that keeps the rankings you already have, with every old address redirected. If the site’s fine but nobody finds it, it’s SEO for the searches your customers really use, with Google Maps and review work for anyone who serves a local area.

Hotels, restaurants and anyone selling to visitors should look at getting recommended in ChatGPT and AI Overviews, because that’s where trip planning starts now. Stuck on a platform you’d rather leave? I also move sites off WordPress, Wix and Squarespace onto a faster, cheaper setup.

Questions from Liverpool businesses

See also the FAQ page.

How much does web design cost in Liverpool?
My websites start at £995 for five pages, £1,495 for up to ten pages on any platform and £2,495 for a shop, and the price is fixed before work starts. Of the Liverpool web design pages I could read in the top results on 30 October 2026, only one listed prices, from £800 for a bespoke site to £1,200 for a shop. The real cost depends on page count, whether you sell online and who writes the words, so ask any supplier for a fixed written quote.
What is the best SEO agency in Liverpool?
There isn’t one best choice for every business, and lists of "top agencies" are often paid placements. Judge any supplier on four things: a fixed price you can see, the name of the person doing the work, monthly reports that count calls and enquiries rather than only rankings, and a plan for AI answers as well as Google. If they can’t show all four, keep looking.
Does SEO still work now people ask AI tools instead of Google?
Yes, it just covers more ground. ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews and Perplexity build their answers from web pages, listings and reviews, so a fast, well structured site with clear facts is what gets you quoted. My SEO plans track both Google rankings and AI answers each month, and AI Search Optimisation goes deeper from £695 a month.
Do you have an office in Liverpool?
No. I work remotely from Karachi, Pakistan, with businesses across the UK, by video call, phone, WhatsApp and email. That’s why prices are the same in Liverpool as anywhere else, and you always deal with me, the person doing the work. You can call 0161 394 2632 or start with a free Liverpool quote.
Can you help businesses on the Wirral or in Sefton?
Yes. Birkenhead, Wallasey, Bootle, Crosby and Huyton get exactly the same service and prices. I’ll set your Google profile and service pages around the towns you really cover, so a joiner in Wallasey isn’t competing with every firm in the city centre.

Heading east along the M62, I also work with businesses in Wigan, Salford and the rest of Greater Manchester, where Renozer started. Same fixed prices, same person doing the work.
