Someone in Brighouse hunting for a vet, a Todmorden householder with a leak and a visitor near the Piece Hall type very different searches. Here’s how Calderdale splits, and what that means for your pages.
The Piece Hall, Borough Market and the Dean Clough mill sit in the centre of town (Wikipedia), and a customer checks a firm on a phone before walking over. Calderdale has 1,080 professional firms alongside its shops, so a page per service and a Maps profile that matches your site gives them a reason to pick you. People type the job and the town. “Vet Brighouse” gets about 720 searches a month, “plumber Brighouse” about 170 and “locksmith Brighouse” about 110, so Brighouse is a search market of its own.
