City centre, the Castle Quarter and Cardiff Bay
The centre holds the St David’s Centre (1.4 million square feet of shops), the Castle Quarter arcades off St Mary Street and High Street, and Cardiff Central Market, while Cardiff Bay has the Senedd and the Wales Millennium Centre. Wikipedia calls the city the main finance and business services centre in Wales, and 2,200 of the council area’s firms are professional, scientific and technical. One clear page for each service you sell, backed by a Maps profile with true opening hours, gives them a reason to pick you. Name the service that pays your bills on the quote form.
Roath, Canton, Pontcanna and Cathays
These inner districts sit around the centre. Wikipedia says Pontcanna is a favourite with students and young professionals, and Cathays, Gabalfa and Plasnewydd have large student populations. Searches by district can show zero on Keywords Everywhere ("kitchen fitter Roath" is 0), which isn’t proof that nobody types them. If your customers live here, a profile with true opening hours and a tap-to-call button is the quickest win, and our Local SEO plan tunes it around the streets you serve.
Whitchurch, Llanishen, Rhiwbina, Radyr and the outer suburbs
Whitchurch, Llanishen, Rhiwbina, Lisvane, Cyncoed and Radyr lie in an arc north of the centre, and Wikipedia notes that Lisvane, Cyncoed, Radyr and Rhiwbina have some of the most expensive housing in Wales. Further east, Pontprennau is described as Cardiff’s newest suburb. For a trade or home service, a clear service area and phone number beat a long brand story.
