Signs your website needs a redesign

If two or more of these sound familiar, our website redesign services usually pay for themselves in enquiries.

Website redesign services from Renozer replace an outdated website with a fast new one, on the same platform or a new one, while every old URL is redirected so your Google rankings carry over.

  • It looks dated next to competitors, so visitors leave without calling
  • It is slow on mobile or fails Core Web Vitals
  • You cannot update it yourself, or every change costs a developer fee
  • It was built before your current services, prices or areas
  • Your platform cannot do what you need, such as bookings or online sales
  • Enquiries have dropped while traffic has stayed the same

Why rankings drop after a redesign

The causes are predictable, which means they are preventable.

What goes wrongHow we prevent it
Old URLs deleted or renamed

Every old URL mapped to its closest new page with a permanent 301 redirect.

Content that ranked is cut

A content inventory, so pages with traffic or links keep their substance.

Titles, schema and internal links lost

Rebuilt to match or improve on the old ones before launch.

The new website is slower

Speed tested on the staging site before launch, not after.

Nobody watches after launch

Daily Search Console checks for the first weeks, with fixes the same day.

Refresh, redesign or migration?

Not every website needs a full rebuild. The free audit tells you which you need.

  4. Launch dayGo live

  5. AfterMonitor

Website redesign questions

See also our FAQ page.

What should website redesign services include?
Good website redesign services include a crawl of the old site, a redirect map for every URL, content that already ranks kept or improved, speed and schema testing before launch, and Search Console monitoring after it. If a website redesign agency cannot show you the redirect map, ask why before you hire them.
Will I lose my Google rankings if I redesign my website?
Not if the move is planned properly. Rankings drop when old pages are deleted or renamed without redirects, when content that ranked is cut, or when the new website is slower. We crawl your current website, map every URL with a 301 redirect, keep the content that ranks and check Search Console daily after launch.
How long does a website redesign take?
Most redesigns take four to eight weeks, depending on the number of pages and whether you are changing platform. Large online shops can take longer because of products, customers and order history.
Can I keep my existing content?
Yes. We keep and improve the content that already ranks or converts, and rewrite or merge pages that do not. Nothing that earns traffic is removed without a redirect.
Can I change my domain name at the same time?
You can, but it adds risk because Google has to transfer trust to a new domain. If you need to, we redirect every old URL to its new equivalent and use the Change of Address tool in Google Search Console.
Can you redesign my website without changing platform?
Yes. Many redesigns keep the same platform, for example a new WordPress theme or a refreshed Shopify store, which lowers the risk further.
A previous redesign lost my rankings. Can you fix it?
Often, yes. We compare old and new URLs using Search Console, backlink data and archived copies of the old website, add the missing redirects and restore content that was cut. Recovery usually starts within weeks of the fixes.
