Renozer is a small startup run by its founder, Muhammad Younus, working remotely from Karachi, Pakistan. We aren't established in the UK and we haven't appointed a UK representative under Article 27 of the UK GDPR. Our processing is occasional and small in scale: it's limited to the contact and project details you choose to send us, we don't process special category data, and it's unlikely to put your rights at risk. You can contact us about your data at any time at hello@renozer.com, and you can still complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (see section 9). If our processing grows, we'll appoint a UK representative and update this policy.
2. The information we collect
Information you give us
- Enquiry, contact and audit forms: your name, email address, phone number (optional), website address, business type, the problem you want help with and your message.
- Newsletter: your email address.
- Calls, emails and video meetings: the information you choose to share with us. We do not record calls or meetings without telling you first.
- Clients: contact and billing details, and the access you give us to accounts such as your website, hosting, Google Business Profile, Google Search Console and Google Analytics. We use that access only to deliver the work you have asked for.
Information collected automatically
- Analytics, only with your consent: pages visited, time on site, device and browser type, approximate location (city level) and the website that referred you, collected through Google Analytics 4.
- Technical data: IP address, browser details and request logs, processed by our hosting and security provider to keep the website secure and working.
We do not collect special category data (such as health information) and we ask you not to send it to us.
3. How we use your information and our lawful basis
| Purpose | Lawful basis under UK GDPR |
|---|---|
| Replying to your enquiry and arranging a call | Legitimate interests (responding to people who contact us) and steps you ask us to take before entering a contract |

| Improving our services | Legitimate interests |
We do not use automated decision-making or profiling that has legal or similarly significant effects on you.
4. Marketing
We only send our newsletter to people who have signed up for it. Every email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing hello@renozer.com. We never sell or rent your details, and we follow the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
5. Who we share it with
We share personal data only with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf under a written contract, and only as far as they need it:
- Website hosting, content delivery and security: Cloudflare, Inc.
- Website analytics: Google (Google Analytics 4), only if you accept analytics cookies.
- Email and productivity: Titan Email, which hosts our hello@renozer.com mailbox.
- Form handling and customer records: Cloudflare runs our website forms and the Turnstile spam check, then sends your message to our Titan mailbox. We don't use a separate CRM.
- Newsletter: sign-ups go to our own Titan mailbox. We don't use a separate email marketing provider yet.
- Invoicing and payments: Upwork, when you hire us through Upwork, or the payment provider named on your invoice.
- Professional advisers: our accountants and legal advisers, who are bound by confidentiality.
We may also disclose information where the law requires it, for example to tax authorities, or to protect our legal rights.
6. International transfers
Some of our service providers, and some members of our team, are based outside the UK. When personal data is transferred outside the UK, we make sure it is protected by one of the safeguards recognised under UK law: a UK adequacy regulation, the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (for certified US companies), the ICO's International Data Transfer Agreement (IDTA), or the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. You can ask us for details of the safeguard that applies.
7. How long we keep it
| Information | How long we keep it |
|---|---|
| Enquiries that do not become clients | 24 months from your last contact |
| Client records, contracts and invoices | 6 years after the end of the financial year in which our work ended, as required for tax purposes |
| Newsletter subscription | Until you unsubscribe |
| Google Analytics data | 14 months |
8. Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you (right of access)
- ask us to correct information that is wrong or incomplete (rectification)
- ask us to delete your information (erasure)
- ask us to limit how we use it (restriction)
- object to us using it on the basis of legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time
- receive information you gave us in a portable format (data portability)
- withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent
To use any of these rights, email hello@renozer.com. There is normally no fee. We may ask you to confirm your identity, and we will reply within one month, or tell you within that month if we need longer for a complex request.
9. Complaints
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, please contact us first at hello@renozer.com so we can try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), the UK's data protection regulator, at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
10. How we protect your information
Our website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to client accounts and records is limited to the people who need it, protected by strong passwords and two-factor authentication where available, and removed when a project ends. No method of sending data over the internet is completely secure, so we ask you never to email passwords; we will arrange secure access instead.
11. Children
Our services are for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
12. Cookies
We use essential storage to run this website and, only with your consent, analytics cookies. Our cookie policy lists every cookie we use and explains how to change your choice.
13. Changes to this policy
We will update this policy when the way we use personal data changes, and show the date of the latest version at the top of the page. This version was last updated on 21 October 2026.
14. Contact us
For any question about this policy or your personal data, email hello@renozer.com, call 0161 394 2632 (Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time), or use our contact page.
