Web design Belfast: the problems owners bring us
These are the problems owners describe on a first call, in their own words, and what we do about each one.
A competitor keeps turning up in Maps and we never do
With 2,915 wholesale, retail and motor-repair firms and 1,265 accommodation and food firms in the council area, a lot of businesses compete for the same Maps results. We fix up your Google Business Profile, publish one local page or post a month on the Local SEO plan, and you ask your own customers for reviews. Each month’s report lists calls, forms and rankings, so you can tell whether Maps is sending work.
People open our site on a phone, give up after one screen and ring a rival
Belfast has 1,265 accommodation and food firms, and plenty of other trades, all competing for the same searches. Every site we build is mobile-first and fast loading, with call, form and WhatsApp tracking so you can see which visitors ring or message. You see the design before the build starts, and your deposit comes back if you don’t approve it.
Our last SEO firm sent a monthly report and never said what it had fixed
Only 1 of the 8 Belfast web design pages we read printed a monthly SEO price: £200 a month. Ours are £295, £495 and £695 a month, with three months to start and then 30 days’ notice. Each month you get a report on calls, forms and rankings, and a call to talk it over.
A customer asked an AI assistant for a Belfast firm like ours and we weren’t named
Only 1 of the 8 Belfast pages we read mentions AI search in its body text, so 7 say nothing. Assistants lean on pages that say what you do and where, on reviews from your customers and on structured data. We write and mark up those pages, and Growth SEO and AI Search Authority add a monthly AI visibility report.
Our developer has gone quiet and we can’t even change a phone number
Of the 15,745 firms in the Belfast council area, 12,120 have fewer than ten staff, so the owner usually looks after the website too. The domain, hosting login, Analytics and Search Console are in your name from day one, and the Business Website includes a 1 hour training video. Website Care, from £49 a month, takes the updates off your plate.
Visitors read our page, then book someone else
Belfast counts 2,245 professional, scientific and technical firms and 1,020 in information and communication, so a visitor is usually comparing several. Put the price, a proof point and one clear button above the fold. The £1,495 Business Website does that and counts calls, form sends and WhatsApp taps. Like your look already? The £595 On-page SEO Fix reworks up to 10 pages and shows rankings before and after.

Around 500 location pages built in WordPress, one per UK town and region.

GK Jewelers: traffic recovered within a week of a bad redesign, then doubled
A redesign cut clicks to about a fifth in three days. We mapped the redirects, then improved category and product pages.

Read the case studyI hired Muhammad after spending two years with two different SEO companies that achieved virtually nothing. Muhammad achieved more in six months than those companies did in two years. Since working with him, I’ve seen an increase in client bookings, with some clients even telling me they found my company because it was recommended by ChatGPT and Claude. …Read the full review
It was a pleasure to work with Muhammad on our new website. He took the time to understand our brief and broke down each step of the process so I was always clear on exactly what he was doing and what was coming next. Muhammad delivered a professional, well built site that looks fantastic. We would highly recommend his services and will definitely be working with him again.
Absolutely STELLAR!!!! He came in and not only fixed someone's else's mistakes - but he did it quickly and now BOTH my mobile AND my desktop sites load quickly and look fantastic!! Thank you again!

What Belfast providers charge, and what we charge
We read 8 Belfast web design pages from Google UK results on 3 November 2026. Two printed website prices, from £199 on one and £499 to £899 plus VAT on the other, and one printed a monthly SEO price, £200 a month. Here’s how that sits beside ours.
- from £199: "Business websites", in the Services menu of a Belfast web design guides page
- £499 plus VAT: the "Lite Site", on a page about Northern Ireland
- £699 plus VAT: the "Pro Site", a customised website, on the same page
- £899 plus VAT: the "Small Shop" and the "Large Shop" are both priced at £899 on that page

Local SEO for Belfast
How Belfast customers search for you
A pest controller in Bangor, a café near the Cathedral Quarter and a clinic on the Lisburn Road don’t get found the same way. Here’s how each part of Greater Belfast searches, and what we’d do about it.
City centre, Cathedral Quarter, Linen Quarter and Titanic Quarter
Wikipedia describes the Cathedral Quarter as the old trade and warehousing district around St Anne’s Cathedral, now full of bars and restaurants, and the Linen Quarter as the area south of City Hall with a dozen hotels, cafés, the Grand Opera House and the Ulster Hall. Titanic Quarter is reclaimed dockland by the harbour. People who don’t know your name search by the service and the area, so a Maps profile with true opening hours and one clear page per service decides who they call. Name the service that pays your bills on the quote form.
Botanic, Malone, the Lisburn Road and East Belfast
The Queen’s Quarter takes in Queen’s University, Botanic Gardens and the Ulster Museum, the Malone Road runs through leafy villa streets, and Belfast City Hospital stands on the Lisburn Road. East Belfast grew out from Ballymacarrett along the Newtownards Road. Searches by area can be small: "gym east belfast" is about 320 a month at a competition score of 0.20, while "carpet cleaning east belfast" shows 10, so it depends on your trade. Fix your opening hours and add a tap-to-call button first; our Local SEO plan then tunes the profile around the streets you serve.
Lisburn, Newtownabbey, Bangor, Holywood and Derry~Londonderry
Wikipedia puts Lisburn 8 miles south-west of the centre and Bangor 13 miles east, with Holywood on Belfast Lough between Belfast and Bangor and Newtownabbey north of the city, separated by Cavehill. All four sit outside the council area counted on this page. Searches for web design there are small: "web design Lisburn" is about 50 a month, "web design Bangor" about 30, "web design Newtownabbey" about 10, and Holywood shows 0, a data gap and not proof that nobody types it. Further out, "web design Derry" is about 260 and "web design Northern Ireland" about 210. Ring 0161 394 2632 or use the quote form and list where you work.
From a search to an enquiry, step by step
A typical local search in Belfast, and the part we handle at each step.

Coverage
Every part of Belfast, and the towns around it
A customer in Holywood, Lisburn or off the Newtownards Road should see their own area named on your profile and pages. We build both around the places you really work in, and each month’s report counts the calls and forms. Lisburn, Newtownabbey and Bangor sit outside the Belfast council area, so they come in through the same quote form.

Working with a remote web designer for Belfast businesses
We’re not based in Belfast and we won’t pretend to be. Here’s how it works, and the three worries people raise most.
- “You’re not local”
We work remotely with UK businesses, Monday to Friday, 9am to 6pm UK time, by video call, phone, WhatsApp and email.
- “I’d like to meet someone first”
Every project starts with a video call where you see Younus and his screen, and you approve the designs before anything is built.
- “What if you disappear?”
You own every account from day one, and you can pay through Upwork so your money is only released when you approve each stage.
